T-Mobile Policy Expert Vetting Support Fast Analysis

Why T-Mobile Is Throttling You

Unlike other carriers, T-Mobile enforces strict Daily Brand Caps. Your total message volume across all campaigns cannot exceed a limit determined by your Brand Trust Score. If you are stuck sending slowly or getting errors, you are likely in a "Low Trust" tier.

Impact Messages Queued/Failed
Common Cause Unvetted Brand
Limit 2,000 Msgs / Day

The "Unvetted" Trap

By default, new brands are often considered "Unvetted," placing them in the lowest tier. Even legitimate businesses can be stuck here until they prove their identity through Secondary Vetting.

T-Mobile Throughput Tiers

Your daily cap is directly tied to your Trust Score (0-100).

Trust Score Daily Brand Cap Status
0 - 24 2,000 / day Low Trust (Default)
25 - 49 10,000 / day Medium Trust
50 - 74 40,000 / day High Trust
75 - 100 200,000+ / day Top Tier

*Sole Proprietor brands are capped at 1,000/day regardless of score.

How to Increase Your Limit

You cannot "negotiate" with T-Mobile. You must follow the formal process to improve your standing.

  1. 1

    Apply for Secondary Vetting

This is the most cost-effective first step. For a one-time fee (~$40), a third party (like Aegis Mobile) audits your business. This often boosts scores from Low to High automatically.

  2. 2

    Correct Brand Data

Before vetting, ensure your Brand Name matches your EIN letter exactly. A data mismatch guarantees a low score.

  3. 3

    Special Business Review (SBR)

If you are a Fortune 500 company or have massive volume needs that vetting didn't solve, you can file an SBR. Warning: This costs $5,000 (non-refundable) and requires extensive documentation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does unused capacity roll over?
No. T-Mobile daily caps reset every 24 hours (usually midnight PST). Any unused messages are lost.
Does AT&T have the same limits?
No. AT&T limits are based on transactions per minute (TPM), not a daily cap. However, a low Trust Score will result in a lower TPM class, slowing down your sending speed.
Is Secondary Vetting guaranteed?
No. It guarantees a review, not a specific score. However, for legitimate businesses with valid tax IDs, it almost always results in a better score than the default "Unvetted" status.
